Subject: Problems installing Linux
Hi all, I installed Linux with the Wubi 8.04 installer that installed the UBUNTU 8.04 linux. I set it up for dual boot with windows XP 2002 (Media Center Edition). I am running a 2 GHZ CPU with !G of RAM and 40 G of disk space for Linux. The problem I am having is that when I boot up into linux the screen looks garbled. Seems like there is a screen refresh problem. Only the area that is around the mouse when I click it gets refreshed. Anyone knows how I can fix this? Thank you, AG

Well, I've never heard of that one before, but I'd troubleshoot it by checking your display settings and then the video card and driver.

If it ain't broke, you aren't trying hard enough.
