Job description:
Cleversafe has an exciting new opportunity available for a Senior Test Engineer. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing testing approaches for the development of new or enhanced commercial and open source software products.
Additional Responsibilities include:
* Develops and executes integration and system test cases to ensure verification and validation of software products
* Identifies automation opportunities to streamline regression testing
* Documents defects and ensures verification of resolutions
* Consults with development on unit testing best practices
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, 2 or more years in a senior test position
* Leadership: Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment
* Requirements Management: Working ability to evaluate testability of requirements. In addition, experience in using IEEE quality characteristics highly desirable.
* Testing: Expert level of testing throughout the SDLC; experience in performance, reliability and/or network testing preferred. Experience in the use of metrics to convey system characteristics and test status. Experience in white or grey box testing. Test experience in an agile development environment is preferred.
* Familiarity in software testing C++ or Java based applications on Linux and Windows operating systems. SDK testing and/or commercial software testing is also preferred.
* Fluency in Java, Python or other scripting languages with demonstrable experience in applying these skills to testing.
* Knowledge in one or more of the following: File systems; device drivers, IP networking; security, system administration, SAN/storage
* Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable degree
H1-B transfers considered.
