Subject: help?
I need to find the command that allows you to customize a command name by assigning it a new command name. For example the command that would allow you to used either cd or my cd to change directories. I think it is CSH or TSCH but I am not sure how to use it. Then I have to use pico to open and edit the bash Linux login file ( in the root directory ) and customize the following a) dispaly contents of directory => mycd b) dispaly date and time => mydt c) logoff => myexit Can anyone please help me, I have been sitting here for two days trying to figure this out.
