I set up a VPN profile on the linux client with a Public IP, a User, a password then connect. I get errors. This same PC will work fine on the local Domain. Is there anything extra to turn on/off because it is a Microsoft VPN server? Thanks for any help

Please e-mail me the errors that you are getting along with your PPP peer file. DO NOT send me your chap-secrets file but make sure that it contains the correct information for authentication. We will start with those and see what we have to work with. - Papa

GRE protocol (protocol 47) needs to be forwarded by the router and not blocked by a firewall. http://poptop.sourceforge.net/dox/gre-protocol-unavailable.phtml
