Subject: Regarding : Linksys Wireless USB adaptor drivers for linux
Hey I have a desktop with linux RHEL kernel 2.6.9 installed in it, since in my house there is wireless Internet connection I bought linksys USB54GC wireless adaptor, but am not able to find its drivers for Linux, so can sme body please help me out how to proceed.
any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated

A few things. First we need to know if the kernel already sees the wifi adapter or not.
Unplug the adapter, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Then as root type 'dmesg' into a console window and paste us the last 100 or so lines.
Also as root again, in the console type 'iwconfig' and paste that to us as well.
