HI, New to Linux. I burned the ISO file to cd and booted from it. At the options screen I choose to do a clean install. But all I get after that is a bunch of errors. The main one is something like"Buffer I/O errors on device sr1" I have checked for errors on CD, no problems were found. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Do you have an option on the boot menu to "Check the CD for errors" or something? It sounds like maybe your disc didn't burn right - does your burning software have any kind of "Verify Written Data" option?

Yup. I'd suggest either checking the CD for errors, or downloading the iso again, and burning a new CD. Sounds like either the download or the burning hit a data snag.
