I am having the same problem - I am trying to run it under: OLPC - sugar OLPC - Fedora /w XFCE Desktop OLPC - xubuntu (from SD Flash) Nokia N800 Internet Tablet - OS2008 (no ipod connected - host usb coming) I have all the dependencies satisfied - but I am not sure what this error is requiring. I have run as root and limited user, under xubuntu i tried sudo I have tried versions 3.0 and 2.9.6. It works with the same ipod in Ubuntu 7.10 and Windows XP. My guess is that it is missing some important dependency for GTK 2.0 I am going to try it on a hardy version of xubuntu and see if that works. What distro are you using?
