Subject: System crash at installation
Hey, I tried Linux Ubuntu some days ago and I really liked it. So I tried to make a full installation yesterday with a boot CD. But something went wrong and I got a program running which was in german, i think it was some kind of partition program. I just exit it and restarted my comp. But after that nothing works. it dident format it cuz trough dr(?)dos I can see that everything is in place but the computer cant find any operating system and when I try to boot from the LINUX boot cd nothing happens... I tried to read the forums and google but couldent find anything about this.... ): i have a FujitsuSiemens Laptop Dual 1.8Ghz 64bit, 2G ram and 256mb nVidia Graphic. I was running XP media center before the crash. Thnx, for anyhelp.

Down load this : Super Grub Disk from the site with the link I am gonna provide. Boot up from the cd and select fix Windows Bootloader. Windows will boot up on reboot.Oh and read the Wiki document the site provides. It is packed with useful info. http://www.supergrubdisk.org/ [Modified by: rokytnji on July 26, 2008 04:13 PM]
