Subject: Will i be able to acces my data?
I have a Question about the "install inside windows" option of Ubuntu 8.04.1. if I install Ubuntu inside windows, will I be able to access the data on my Windows Vista partition? And will it be a big performance loss compared to the normal installation? I can't just put my data on DVD's and swipe the disk, as I'm a music producer, and I need windows to use my favorite software, plus I've got 230 GB's of stuff. for the performance question, here are my specs: Intel Pentium Dual Core 1,8 Ghz Samsung 2x1024 Mb RAM DDR2 800Mhz Samsung HD250 7200 RPM 250GB (not sure about the name, my diagnostic program says that's the name) Intel GMA 3100 graphics TerraSoniq TS22 Sound Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 Thanks in advance.
