How can i get my computer to recognize the distro? I have little to no knowledge of a computers inner workings. Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to dual run Vista with one of the distros. The external is an 80G about 46% full. The only reason I'm trying to use the external is because i can't seem to get enough partitioned on my main hard drive to run it.

Or are you just using it as NTFS storage device?
