(there ARE different versions, arent their?) P.S. i didnt know were to put this thread

For a Laptop with windows 2000 I would estimate maybe a Pentium II/III with maybe 256M Ram or less and maybe a 10Gb hard disk. For this I would recommend DSL Linux or Puppy Linux, You will be able to browse the internet, chat, play music and run OpenOffice.
