I have a PDC server (Samba) that I have to replace. I've configured the second server exactly the same as the first one: the same users, the same passwords, the same IP address and host name. The problem is that I can't log in a user as it is, but I have to disconnect it first from the domain (into a workgroup) and then reconnect it for the new server. But in this way for a windows xp client results a new windows xp user and consequently I have to replace address books, mail, documents for each PDC client. Thank you in advance for any suggestion!
