Subject: Need Help in installing RHEL5
After installation of RHEL 5, when the system restarts, message "hdc: lost interrupt" is coming. System is not boting up

Boot with the acpi=off option. You'll have to edit GRUB to change the kernel entry and append acpi=off at the end. To edit GRUB, press e at the GRUB menu. Scroll down to the kernel entry, and press e again. Now move to the end of the line and type acpi=off Now press Enter and then press b to boot from this new entry. Let us know if it works. You'll have to edit the grub.conf file to make this change permanent. Cheers!
