Where does it stop? What happens -- do you see a blank screen or a black screen or an error message? Also, what distribution are you trying to install? Is this some ancient Red Hat Linux or one of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux? Finally, spare us some details of your hardware, especially what processor you got, how much RAM and what graphics card.
