Subject: Recording line input to files greater than 2048MB
I am recording radio from line-in on my Linux box using sound-recorder. If the recording time causes the output file size to grow over 2048MB, the output file ceases to increase in size. I suspect this is some sort of application issue with sound-recorder. Is there any other command line application that I can use in a shell script that will record from line-in (/dev/dsp) that does not have a 2GB file size limitation?

I don't know how helpful these links are. Couldn't find anything about the 2GB file size limit. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=469430 http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=43343
