Subject: Switching back to Gnome in mandriva 2009
Hi,
I installed mandriva 2009 powerpack on my laptop and had gnome selected during the installation. After a couple of boots i decided to try KDE so i've got KDE environment packages installed from package manager. After the reboot it set KDE as the default session and i couldn't change it to gnome. Infact when i click on the session option on the login screen it just shows 3 options (default, custom and failsafe). "default" was KDE 4.1. Please help me in getting back to Gnome. Is there anyway to change the default session back to gnome(apart from choosing it at login screen) and did anybody else experience this issue before? I couldn't think of any reason why it happened.
Thanks in advance!

Update: I got it figured out. It was in control center and select the "boot" option (last option in the left side bar). Then in "configure boot steps" click on "set up display manager". Played with a bunch of options and changed the boot screen. It solved my problem and bought up the "gnome" option in session selection.
Thanks
