Subject: Ubuntu Wireless Problems
I just installed the latest version of Ubuntu, and I'm having a little trouble - scratch that, a lot of trouble - connecting to my home wireless network. Pretty much all of my neighbours' networks are being automatically detected, but not mine. Every other laptop in the house (there are quite a few) are picking it up, and my one did a few hours ago when I was running Vista...
I've tried creating the connection manually. The security is WPA-PSK (TKIP). I'm a little clueless, so I took a guess that of the three options Ubuntu offers, WPA & WPA2 Personal was the right one. Input the WPA key where it said 'Password', and no joy.
At the moment I'm using a mobile modem, which is slow and finicky. I really want to get back to using my wireless.
Help me!

Well, I would say check the drivers, but you neighbors shows up. I use WPA and it comes out fine. I've had problems connecting to but not seeing some routers/networks.
