I've got a mission, and my mission is: build a good looking distro that runs well on a 64-mb RAM computer/laptop. It only needs a webbrowser, gimp, email and a text-editor. Who's in? Ooooh and wait, the goal is to let it look like mac OS Leopard, if that's alright.

I don't do a lot of distro hopping, but aside from the mac OS Leopard look, there should be several distros out there already that meet your requirements. You might check into DSL and Puppy. And I imagine you could get Debian running on something like that if you replaced the WM and stripped out a lot of components.
Furthermore, the DE is going to be the most memory-hogging component of any distro with a GUI. Getting a Mac OS Leopard look on a 64 MB machine might not be feasible (IMHO).
What languages do you code in?
