Subject: how to install atheros wireless driver in fedora 9
sir, i have installed fedora 9 in my laptop,which has amd processor and atheros wireless card. how can i download atheros driver & install in in to my laptop?

Just upgrade to FC10 which is more stable. The FC10 kernel-2.6.27 has the drivers for the Atheros cards, webcams, etc. and they work right out of the box. If you try to install the madwifi drivers for FC9, you have got to blacklist the orignal FC9 driver if you don't your going to have conflicts between old an new drivers.
