Subject: Help with Net Applet
First of all , I'll translate my problem into English with my best skill , since I'm not English . Don't flame about it. Hello Linux'ers . I'm new to this System and , therefore , when I face a problem , I got no other choice than asking someone that knows . Here I am. Operatin System : Linux Magic Box 12 Problem / Source of Problem : Can't connect to the Internet via Wlan . Whenever I tried to connect via wireless to any Internet Source Provider , in Internet Configuration pannel , it showed up 2 different options to do so . I picked the first 1 , connected and voila . Now , it only shows 1 ( ndiswrapper I think ) and I can't connect with it . It says I need to install some stuff and it gives me a link , which leads to a blank page . Now , I think the problem ( I don't know ... ) is the misunderstanding of the PC between ethernet and wlan , since my Icons for Internet connections were a cable for ethernet , a moden for ppp0 and a wireless sign for wlan. Now , wlan shows with the ethernet cable since i plugged in a cable to get Internet . Please, tell me / show me how to procede to make Wlan work right . Yours Truly , Login.

Try an Ubuntu LiveCD and see if you are able to access your WLAN, it should work.
