newbux Joined: Dec 21, 2008 Posts: 9 Other Topics	Posted Jan 10, 2009 at 5:00:34 AM Subject: installed app now i want to unistall it hello i have ubuntu 8.10 intrepid and i installed snort and mysql for security but i couldnt get it working correctly and snort is not free would you recommend getting wireshark as a sniffer i am trying prevent and detect intruders to my home desktop system. i think wireshark will so the same is that right? also i want to unistall snort and mysql now but installed them through the terminal and i dont know how to uninstall them. could you tell me how. thanks
