opening files after being downloaded from firefox

mizzdani Joined: Jan 14, 2009 Posts: 5 Other Topics	Posted Jan 14, 2009 at 2:29:04 PM Subject: opening files after being downloaded from firefox hey ive downloaded a number of program files from the net, such as frostwire/limewire and such things and they download successfully in the download tabbed window and then when its 100 percent downloaded it cums up with open and remove besides it and i click open and nuffin at all happens, the open link goes form blue to purple but nuffin actually happens. please help. thanking-you.

(not sure if thats wt u mean thats what version it says on the recovery disc because i dont have a manual with it written on.) and firefox 2.0.0.11 im normally a windows person so its all new lol.

If what you downloaded says exe. any where on it, delete them and send them to trash. They are useless to a new user. Not being familiar with EEE PC or Linux I am not going to explain Wine to you.
