Subject: learning linux
i just installed linux on my hp530 and i want to run this system on linux how do i get the drivers so my computer can run as normal.then the media players where do i downnload them from.thanks for helping.

Which linux distribution did you install? From what I can see, almost everything should work without downloading any extra drivers. Is there something specific not working?

How to get proprietary media codecs varies depending on what distribution you're running.

Any decent desktop distro should come with a media player installed. You might need some proprietary codecs to be able to see and hear proprietary formats like mp3 or .avi.
