1. Join the IEEE Computer Society and/or the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). They have student memberships that are not too costly and plug you into the two largest networks of computer engineering professionals all over the world.
2. Get an internship at a company working in an area related to your career interest. As a senior and principal software engineer in Massachusetts I mentored a number of interns over my career, and most of them have developed exceptional software engineering careers themselves in important fields - and have become good friends as well. We used to bring engineering graduates over from one of the top engineering schools in Denmark and I had the pleasure and honor of hosting, mentoring, and managing some of these exceptional young people. Honestly, it was one of the high points of my career over the past 25 or so years.

If you are really interested, I would suggest some remedial spelling and writing classes before embarking on a career in Information Technology.

Indeed. Good writing and communication skills are essential these days. I know that English as a second language is not easy for a lot of people, but it is still pretty important in IT and engineering careers.
