Subject: after installing fc6
after installing fc6 in text mode, a messenge appears which says what fc6 has installed correctly, so the machine reboot by itself and ends in a text line askking for localhost and password. which localhost?? which password??. I haven't been able to use fc6. notes: * the machine had windows xp before installing fc6 and working correctly * fc6 installation was default * DHCP installation was default * partitions were default * the machine installs fc6 in text mode, because it can't do it in graphic mode (i don't understand, my pc has 192 Mb of ram) * machine pentium III 500 mhz * ram 192 mb * hard-disk 20 G for win xp and 20 G for fc6 if you can help me, i would appreciate it. thanks a lot

Your machine is the localhost. This is the default name of your machine. And if a password is asked for, it is because you set up a user during installation, and you now need that password. And you must have, because Fedora requires you to. Try to remember what you did during installation. Also, I _highly_ recommend that you install a more recent version of Fedora, i.e. Fedora 10. There have been major changes and improvements since 6.
