Hey guys nd gals out here in community. I am a java programmer .i want to know that is java compatible with linux. java is famous for its security and linux is bug free . so if any one knows about java in linux .. plz send me details

The nice thing about Linux is that you can have more than one version of Java installed, so if you have some really old cruft that requires the 1.3 or 1.4 JRE you can install those as well as the latest Java 6.

Sometimes real fast is almost as good as real time. Remember, Google is your friend!

Subject: java compatability with linux
The entire purpose for Java's creation was to be cross-platform. And it was created by a Unix company. So yes, it works with Linux.
