Job Description :
Hands-on experience with administering 100+ Linux Servers. Support of RedHat 4.x on Dell hardware.
Managing user accounts and groups in multiple computing environments. Experience in an environment with multiple networks.
Strong system access and network troubleshooting skills. Experience with supporting 1500+ users.
Ability to work evening hours and/or weekends as needed. Ability to support scheduled network and/or server outages for maintenance. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Required Skills :

Candidate Must Have :
· BS and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator.

· Ability to communicate system changes and outages to senior staff and customers both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to work on projects both individually and as a project lead.

· Ability to trouble-shoot issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner.

· Knowledge of change management practices.

Additional Information :
•Knowledge of patch management and security procedures.

Skills which are not required, but would be a strong plus:
•Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, Windows and Cisco.
•Experience working with an EMC SAN.
•Experience working with VERITAS NetBackup and tape libraries.
•Network administration skills.
•Experience with scripting.
