On some of them the main page will load but when i click on a link to another part of the site it just says loading but doesnt do anything else. I have a PC that has windows xp on it and its having the same problem with it. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Chris

Seems like connectivity issue. What's your internet setup? Dial-up, wireless, what speed, what network?

How long have you had this problem? If this is something recent, since you say you're having the same problems in Windows as well, I suggest you contact your ISP.

Sounds like it might be a content filter, either something you've done inadvertently or perhaps your internet provider has done. Check all your filters, ad-blockers etc., and if you find nothing there, contact your IP. Many providers have instituted filters on bit torrent sites. You may be experiencing something related.

If it ain't broke, you aren't trying hard enough.

Most likely is that your ISP's dns server is fubar and it is timing out trying to resolve the new IP address. I had a similar problem with Comcrap and Verizon in Boston a few years ago. Try using another dns server (see /etc/resolv.conf). Here are a couple (bell-atlantic, formerly at&t): 199.45.32.37, 199.45.32.40. Since these are TLD servers, they tend to be pretty reliable.

Sometimes real fast is almost as good as real time. Remember, Google is your friend!
