Linux_Freakazoid Joined: Feb 26, 2009 Posts: 23 Other Topics	Posted Apr 09, 2009 at 9:18:56 AM Subject: using Y! messenger on ubuntu 8.10 hi, can someone pls tell me how i cn use yahoo messenger on ubuntu 8.10. i want to voice chat, text chat and conference. will: 1)pidgin b able to do it, or 2)will i have to use wine, or 3)will i have to do something else? i would prefer using pidgin, cause i dont have to download anything. in either case, pls. give me step-by-step details on how to do 1,2 or 3 mentioned above, or atleast a link to it. thanks! (sorry, im new 2 ubuntu)

Using wine is a good idea, because that might be the easiest option.
