Subject: Opening flash drive in DSL
Hello (again) I know this is a second post in such a short period of time, but I have been waiting for help on this topic for some time now. It's a very simple question really: How do you open a flash drive on DSL-N desktop? I have this flash device mounted, but I can not figure out exactly how to open the device. Any help here? Thanks!

This forum isn't well populated currently, as the site is in the midst of changes. Where did you mount the device? Once it's mounted, it's just like navigating to any other file system, or maybe I'm not clear what the question is?

There is the physical mount (plug it in to a flash reader port), and there is the file system mount. That needs to be done in order to access the drive. It is best if you use a USB flash adapter, which looks to the system like an external USB drive, and most Linux distributions will automount them just fine. These adapters cost about $5 USD and are available from just about any online vendor, such as Amazon.com or Buy.com, or at your local electronics store such as Best Buy, CompUSA, et al. You can also mount it directly, but you need to know what the device id is.

Sometimes real fast is almost as good as real time. Remember, Google is your friend!
