Subject: Canon Pixma iP1800 not working after installed Driver.
I am using FC6 nd i have succesfully installed canon driver but printer is giving error msg

nd hmm,i tried "system-config-printer" for solving problem but i am getting error msg.

i dont know why nd whats wrong.i am giving all details of /var/log/cup.
I.ve installed canon printer driver "cnijfilter-ip1800series-2.70-1.i386.rpm" nd "cnijfilter-common-2.70-1.i386.rpm".i everything tried for solve but unsucces please help me

Sadly there is no guaranty that these drivers you have will work, i was suprised they even do linux drivers as im quite sure they didnt last week.
And to be quite honest in my 15 years experience with linux ive never used a printer :P

Hey dear ,i am working with same printer nd i have solved that problem as was my topic.i did nd i am printing files in FC6 .i think iso every thing is possible in the computer world .well thanks for given some time for my topic nd best of luck for coming new years.
