I look at the neglected step-child treatment that ogg vorbis and theora receive even on FOSS oriented sites and realize that they don't stand a chance in the outside world. linux.com needs to drop the Flash and make sure the ogg feed gets proper QA. Good show this week. But marred by the demonstration that ogg is a second class citizen, even here.

I'm anxious to find out which Linux distro locked someone out of their machine due to registration issues. Xandros, I'm guessing. I'll bring the tar. Who wants to bring the feathers?

(And do you think you might be able to *stop* using ambiguous characters, like 'l' and '1', '0 and O' in your CAPTCHAS. It's damned annoying to have to submit 3 times due the use of a substandard CAPTCHA implementation.)
