I think it's much more complicated than just "buying Novell" Making a Microsoft Linux would not only be a strange turn of events it would be a dramatic event. One of the primary issues is why would M$ want to give up the cash cow called windows? Windows is a money machine for M$.

isn't it too much on thinking more $ than making the best operating system or a combination of both microsoft and linux. making the softwareworld a better place with cheap or free softwares. also making the internet run faster and better. making everyone knowlegable. hey stop pushing microsoft of making small changes to their OS every 2 years at the expense of everybody!

this will never happen linux & M$ no way in one os build by M$ agree or not will never come such day
