OK .. so this is my very first attempt at a 'techlog'.. as u will probably come to realise very quickly, as i have far more questions than answers!

However, in the spirit of the  movement i thought i would simply publish the trials and tribulations that i go through in my attempt to get to a stage where i can delete the WIN partition .. *smile*

For the first time lately i have experienced a 'stress free' involvement with my installation  [PCLinuxOS] and am starting to realise that freedom of choice does not come without an entry price.

I have wondered however, looking at the 'big picture', what percentage of the 'PC User' world are prepared to, let alone are equipped to, pay that price?

This then leads me then to envisage the proliferation of 'Windoze' as the preferred system.

Time will tell no doubt, as it has always had a habit of doing.
