I have created a 3D aplication using openGL ES 2.0 and from that application I want to get the list of other active 2D clients in the system.
Is there any way to get this list?

Not sure if this will help, but you can run "top" from the command line which will give you active running applications on your system.
Use the "man" command in the command line to get a description of the apps running.
