I have. I just prefer Final Cut and unfortunately there just isn't anything quick like it for Linux.

Fedora 10
Motherboard: Asus M4A79 Deluxe
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 940 Processor 3GHz
Memory: 8GB Mushkin DDR2 6400
Video: Nvidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB
PSU: Thermaltake 1000W
Case: Antec Sonata 2


Can't remember what brand/model the HDD's are, but i've got 600GB in this system, SATA2 of course.

I also have a MythTV box, another guest desktop, and a laptop all running Linux. Can't remember system specs off the top of my head for those though, and too lazy to look ;)

OS 1: Cross Linux from Scratch, version 1.1.0 x86_64 multilib
OS 2: Gentoo 2008.0 AMD64
OS3: CLFS, SVN from sometime in March x86_64 multilib
OS4: CLFS 1.0.0 x86_64 "pure" 64-bit except I made changes to the book to be more FHS compliant.
