I downloaded the XP driver from the website, and it came in an .exe that wanted to run the setup wizard for the wireless card.

Then you didn't follow the instructions in the link I provided.

You will need to install ndiwrapper and cabextract using your distros pacakge management tools, then use cabextract to extract the .inf file from the .exe package, after that is don you can follow the instructions at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0Ist9aEKEg complete the extraction and driver activation, just skip over the parts about installing the application.
