yum install broadcom-wl
yum install kmod-wl or
yum install akmod-wl

Have you turned on the wireless in your laptop ? check that. I made this mistake and struggled for some 2 hrs.
Ensure the Wirless On button position, then follow mathew's tips, it should work. Its working for me
