I know the password I entered when starting my Linux for the first time,but did not know that I had to note the user name which was already filled in.How can I find it to enter the Linux?Can anybody help Please?

Normally it is the First Name in lower case. My Full Name is Alan Rochester, therefore my username is alan.
If this doesn't work you could use a LiveCD to see what the Home Folder on the Hard Drive is called. That is probably your username.
