Starting to learn programming

Hello

I want to start learning programming and i use linux superX.
Is there an editor which can support many languages for linux
operating systems?

Try eclipse. This IDE support various language from Java to C/C++. A bit high on requirement but it is very powerful.

If you were looking for simply an editor and not an IDE, you may want to try SciTE, Scribes, or Vim.

You could try Gambas which is similar to Visual Basic. The software should be in your Software Center/Manager. It has everything you need to get started, including an editor.
