Just bored. I would like to add my joystick as a mouse. Its just a fun project.
OK, I have a Logitech Attack 3 that's just sitting here, what do we do? Haven't plugged it into a Linux machine in ages.

Well at least it's recognized...I'll check back later.
At least it isn't a game port device. I wrote an x-windows driver to use my game port joystick as a mouse over 10 years ago. It worked ok, but I never did get comfortable using it for mousing vs. flying... :-) Anyway, the biggest issues for the driver was the code for debounce control, edge detection, and acceleration. It was one of those "fun" projects, just to know I could do it, and to get more comfortable with low-level x-lib programming.
