I installed fedora onto my laptop and when the desktop background loads up nothing happens. I found out it needs a driver to work properly. I downloaded the driver after installing windows back onto my computer and was wondering how i can install it after i install fedora back on before it boots up.

You have to be more specific then that;
1. do you need support in the kernel on your laptop
or
2. do you need help with creating a module (which should be available for Fedora)
So please explain further what types of trouble you are getting because a "blank desktop" is not a good one :)
