Linux SCTP and p2p applications

Just for fun to ask 3 questions :

1. Why not using SCTP to implement a Bittorrent client?

2. Why not using SCTP to do live streaming broadcast?

3. Why at present no applications based on SCTP (Windows, linux)?

But supporting SCTP has to start somewhere ? Why? http://lwn.net/Articles/363696/

I think that SCTP is not implemented more because it requires work-arounds for it to be tunneled or translated into TCP or UDP. As a developer I would not go through the extra effort of tunneling or translations for a SCTP if I can already use TCP libraries that give similar and sufficient communications.

As I searched from google, i found the EU has done extensive research on SCTP. I think EU wants to build a p2p TV network on top of SCTP.
