Wow. i got the exact same message today too

Hello,

I am having a problem with SDL ( Simple DirectMedia Layer ) ...
When I try to open something I created with SDL or a game that uses it it gives this error...

Couldn't initialize SDL: No available video device

Can you tell me what it means?

Hello,

I was playing the game sauerbraten and then for some reason it (and most of my other games) stopped working...
I tried opening sauerbraten in terminal and here is the error...

Using home directory: /home/elijah/.sauerbraten
init: sdl
Unable to initialize SDL: No available video device

I am using Ubuntu 9.10.
