I had an ISO for Fedora 10, and it actually looks very nice. I am using KDE, though, so I have not yet really tried Fedora with GNOME.

Anyway, I find it strange that openSUSE would do that to your Ubuntu installation. The same as the poster before, me I have not tried installing them in one hard drive, but then again, I have not yet tried installing two linuxes in one system.

openSUSE is also nice, though. It looks clean and green. :)

I play Starcraft on Wine. I bought the battlechest in anticipation of Starcraft II. Yeah, I'm actually buying original copies, right! :D I just feel a sense of realness to the product that I'm holding if it's coming from the source.

Yep, as a developer I do like to support developers, although publishers get most of the cut, I think. :angry:

Anyway, back to Wine: It seems to be a great project to work on, as there are a lot of games that people want to see running there.

Wow, this is nice! I have not realized that there are a lot more good games in Linux than I expected. I'll be visiting this site more often, thanks! :laugh:

I think it would also be great to have a podcast to go with this thing. I know that might be getting into the mold of certain gaming sites like IGN.com and Gamespy, but it would probably also be an excellent medium to attract more attention to the site. Just an idea. :P

Well, there's the 2disc Xwindow Embedded Linux. I believe it is referring to floppy discs. Some of the tools are proprietary, though. I am not sure if that will be a problem for you, but here is the link anyway. :)

There is also this link that might help you with working with Linux distros that do not necessarily run on CDs. I have yet to try this on my own old desktop. :) I also have a desktop that still has a floppy drive.

You could also use Puppy Linux. It is very lightweight, also I believe it also uses the Xfce windowing system, so it is not as heavy on resources.

Slax only requires very little storage space. But I have not tried installing it on a hard drive, though. It's based on Slackware.
