I want to ditch windows, BUT I have Repetitive Stress Injury from using the computer too much. I found this soft for windows: gentle mouse, which actually helps.
Can I run it on linux or openbsd?
Is there an alternative so I don't have to click the mouse?

In addition to the mouse modifications, you can choose to use one of many different window managers in linux in which each have different interaction methods. I personally use a tiling window manager called i3 which is very minimalistic and uses the keyboard for all interaction, I personally hate the mouse and currently only use it to navigate web pages.
