Hello Dear,
I am currently using an Ubuntu 11.10 OS in my LAPTOP.
Now, I want to use camera in laptop so i download "cheese" for that but it is the black and white camera.
I want to use the colourfull camera in ubuntu 11.10 so please suggest me the software for that.

cheese works on all camera types and the drivers for your camera should be built into the kernel if it is working. I recommend checking out the setting in cheese to make sure the B&W is not just a filter in cheese.
