Hi, all!
I'm an Ubuntu user, and I'll be getting a new laptop tomorrow.
How much memory is optimal for running Ubuntu in dual boot? My old laptop had 4 GB of memory. Will Ubuntu work well with 2 or 3 GB?
Thanks for the help!

My philosophy about memory is that more is better, but I forget why! :-)
Joking aside, get 4GB and if it supports it, run in 64-bit mode so you can use all of the memory. I have 4GB on my dual core laptop and have not regretted it at all. I am running Ubuntu 9.04.
