System Administrator

Valley, AL

A System Administrator position is available immediately for someone who has strong experience with Unix (Linux, Solaris, and AIX) and scripting skills in Shell and/or Perl. This person will manage an Apache Web Server to include supervising upgrades and identifying vulnerabilities. Need a self-starter who will be able to interface with various departments to accomplish responsibilities.

Required Experience
• Apache/PHP web server/web hosting
• Tomcat Java web server
• Unix (Linux, Solaris, AIX)
• Scripting experience in Shell and/or Perl
• Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

Preferred Experience
• Weblogic application server
• Business Objects
• Websphere application server
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
