any one can use arch linux.if you know english and know how to read manuals and wiki its good enough.people who already use arch are the ones who scare the newbies away, even in forums and every review sites.

if you dont enjoy computing and just want to use computers as an inanimate object,then the choice is upto you!

The only thing is that you have to install, your own GUI and window manager if you want them, otherwise, good distro.
Arch is light and fast, personally I like it but if you aren't an extremely advanced user that knows how Linux works it isn't for you.
